WHO IS JON HARRIS?
Jon has lived in Beauley Road Southville for the last 11 years, he grew up in Nailsea nearly 40 years ago and has lived and worked in South Bristol since leaving college. Jon is married and has two daughters who attend Southville Primary School. He has been employed by the Brandon Trust to support adults with learning difficulties, for the last thirteen years. He also helps run a local youth group and takes an active part in supporting his children’s school to raise funds via the PTA.
Jon Harris is standing at the forthcoming local council election to provide people with an independent alternative to the party political system. He is keen to make local politics focus on local issues, and as an independent councillor will be able to represent the views of the constituents more fairly. Jon agrees with many of the issues raised by his opponents, however the difference with voting for Jon is his commitment to improve your access to democratic decision making. Jon wants to avoid political and ethical divides interfering with local peoples’ access to public communication
and decision making.
